Day 10: Keep it simple.
In the last post, I addressed the need to keep the family schedule simple. The truth is, however, that we parents tend to over-do most things. We over-do dinner, explaining things to our kids, discipline and enabling. We over-do parenting in many forms.
Keep. It. Simple.
Crockpot dinners. Short explanations. Set boundaries. And keep them. Create a chore list for the whole family. And stick to it. Carpools. Use the "village." Say "no."
How can you simplify your life today? When you, the parent, start to simplify, the family will, too. All change only requires small steps.
